How To Clean a Garrett AT MaxUpdated a year ago

How to clean your Garrett AT Max

After a hunt get a damp cloth and wipe down the coil and other areas of your metal detector.

Also remove all your control house covers to allow time for the unit to dry out properly. Especially in humid conditions or if your were caught in a rainstorm. When you store your detector be sure to remove the batteries from the control housing. This will stop them from getting run down or worse, leaking into your control housing. Keep your detector in a cool dry place. Treat your machine with care and it will treat you to lifelong fun.
