Question: What can I do to get more depth while metal detecting?
Answer: Always use headphones, you'll hear the faint signals better. Slow down, give the detector time to analyze the ground. Keep your coil low to the ground, the higher the coil is off the ground the more depth you are sacrificing. Keep your swinging distance short so the coil remains parallel to the ground. Use minimum discrimination. Overlap your swings more, the deeper the coil penetrates, the smaller the area it covers. Hunt when the ground is wet for better conductivity... Practice, Practice, Practice.
